Founded in 2007 by producer Augusto Casé, CASE FILMES debuted in the film market in 2010 with the feature film “Muita Calma Nessa Hora”, directed by Felipe Joffily. Today it already has more than 25 audiovisual projects, including films, documentaries and series. With successful feature films such as “Cilada.com”, “E aí... Comeu?” and “Os Caras de Pau”, the production company has +13 million spectators throughout these years. Signed the feature film “Depois de Tudo”, directed by Johnny Araújo, and the production of the documentary “Sobral, The Man Who Had No Price”, directed by Paula Fiuza, selected for the Festival do Rio, in 2013, and for the Mostra of São Paulo in the same year. In 2016, he launched the series “E aí, Comeu?”, shown in 13 episodes on the Multishow channel, which was among the five most watched on pay TV in Rio and among the eight in Brazil. In 2017, he made the documentary “Asdrúbal Trouxe o Trombone”, shown in October by GNT in thirteen episodes, in addition to releasing the comedy “Chocante” in theaters. It also produced the series “Ó Pai Ó”, a success derived from the film of the same name and in 2018, produced “Paraíso Perdido”, a film directed by Monique Gardenberg, which dates back to the successful partnership already seen in the co-production of the feature “Ó Pai Ó”, the film, where he resumes a successful partnership with Dueto Produções, releasing “Paraíso Perdido”, directed by Monique Gardenberg. In 2021, he released “Hermanoteu na Terra de Godah”, a streaming success. At the Festival do Rio, CASE FILMES launched the documentary “Paulo Casé – O Arquiteto do Encontro”, directed by Paula Fiúza, which premiered in cinemas. On pay TV, produced the first season of “Suite Magnólia” for Canal Brasil and resumed production of the “Cilada” franchise, a project conceived in partnership with Bruno Mazzeo, with two seasons for Globoplay. Expected to premiere in 2023, “Nas Ondas da Fé”, starring Marcelo Adnet, will be released in 500 cinema complexes throughout Brazil. The producer shot and is already finishing her new feature, “Ó Pai Ó, 2”.
